About
Dr Sam completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide before completing paediatric specialist training at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He undertook fellowships in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Liver Transplantation and Clinical Nutrition at Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane and Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, before returning to Adelaide in 2021.

Dr Sam has a staff specialist appointment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and is a member of Gastroenterological Society of Australia. He is accredited in paediatric endoscopy and colonoscopy and undertakes procedures at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.

Dr Sam is passionate about teaching and training future specialists and is the lead consultant for paediatric gastroenterology training in South Australia. He cares for children with all types of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and allergic gastrointestinal disorders.
